The RNLI is a charity that provides a 24-hour lifeboat search and rescue service, seasonal lifeguards, and water safety education and initiatives. We’re looking for an inspiring and experienced Head of Engineering Transformation to join us in supporting the whole organisation to transform the engineering output of the organisation and generate significant progress against the high-level strategic goal of modernising our lifesaving assets and property estate.
As Head of Engineering Transformation, you will be responsible for all aspects of new product development within the directorate. You will oversee the end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) process, from liaising with customers to delivering production-ready solutions, including all relevant paperwork and certification.
This role will be part of our Engineering and Supply (ES) Department Senior Leadership Team. The ES Department designs, builds, supplies, supports, and maintains the RNLI’s buildings, boats, and equipment to help save lives and keep our people safe. Their vision is to deliver trusted, sustainable solutions to bring our people home safely, achieved by empowering staff, embracing data, innovative thinking, and technology to continually improve reliability, safety, and availability.
