AG Barr Group in Glasgow is seeking a Head of Engineering to lead site engineering strategy, drive high-speed manufacturing performance, and pioneer continuous improvement across production operations.

Reporting to the Site Director, you will partner with Production to maximise line efficiencies, optimise maintenance, and deliver multi-million pound capital projects while shaping a culture of safety, reliability and performance.

Formación

• Extensive engineering management experience in a high-speed FMCG or Food & Beverage facility.
• Deep technical knowledge of high-speed packaging equipment and QSE standards.
• Proven track record in PPM systems, asset reliability strategies and multi-million-pound capital projects.

Responsabilidades

• Strategic & Financial Leadership: assist in preparing and executing the annual engineering budget and optimise resources.
• Maintenance & Asset Reliability: drive plant uptime and asset performance through effective PPM scheduling and stores management.
• Capital Project Delivery: formulate capex proposals and manage procurement, installation and commissioning.
• Collaborative CI Integration: embed continuous improvement with Production to maximise line efficiencies and stock reduction.
• Safety, Quality & Compliance: champion QSE and ensure adherence to standards by all contractors.
