Head of Engineering – Electronics – Nottinghamshire – LM1219

Job Term: Full Time/Permanent

Job Outline: My client, a leader in Electronic Test & Measurement, seeks a Head of Engineering to join their growing team. Based within commuting distance of Nottingham and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for and lead all technical aspects of manufacturing.

You will manage a small engineering team, overseeing NPI, process and manufacturing improvements, and subcontracting and outsourcing as needed. Additionally, you will support staff training and development, and manage and develop the calibration team, including achieving ISO17025 accreditation and setting up a new calibration lab.

You will also oversee quality management, maintaining ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation, and improving day-to-day quality through staff training. Ensuring products meet relevant international standards and managing the EU service centre are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications:

You should have a PhD or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
