Head of Engagement

Location: North Chailey, East Sussex, BN8 4EF

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, Flexible working arrangements available.

They’re looking for a Head of Engagement to shape their engagement strategy and enhance their reputation, visibility, and impact.

The Role

Lead a purpose-driven team in an organisation that transforms lives.
Drive meaningful engagement through PR, digital marketing, and stakeholder relations.
Shape their brand voice and influence key decision-makers.
Have an impact on the lives of young people with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute a strategic engagement plan across PR, digital, communication and marketing.
Build and manage relationships with colleagues, donors, families, and wider stakeholder audiences.
Oversee brand reputation and crisis communications.
Lead a high-performing team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Use data-driven insights to refine communication strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in PR, communications, and marketing.
A natural leader with a strategic mindset and hands-on approach.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills, able to influence at all levels.
Digitally savvy, with expertise in social media, content marketing, and digital tools.
A passion for the charity sector, social care, and education.
