Job description

Remote role - Preference for those located in the south of the UK but not essential.

An innovative Energy organisation in the United Kingdom is seeking a Head of Energy and Environment to oversee all aspects of the organisation’s energy strategy, operations, and sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and implement the company’s energy strategy, aligning with business goals and regulatory requirements.
2. Lead decarbonization and renewable energy initiatives.
3. Track and report on sustainability KPIs and emissions.
4. Manage energy infrastructure projects.
5. Expand and develop the energy team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Senior, Lead, Principal or Head of positions.
• Strong background in Energy, Sustainability, Transport, Supply or a similar field.
• Extensive experience developing company-wide strategies and approaches to projects.
• Experience working with local authorities and organisations responsible for transport, energy, and infrastructure.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring colleagues.
• UK-based without the need for sponsorship or visas.
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
