This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven electronics leader to take ownership of a strategic function within a rapidly growing medtech company. In this highly visible role, you will define the vision, organisation, and processes for the electronics function, guiding the development of technologies that directly improve patient outcomes.

As a senior leader, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing the product roadmap, driving technical excellence, and fostering a high-performing, collaborative team. You will bring both deep technical expertise and broad leadership experience, ensuring the electronics capability continues to evolve in line with ambitious growth plans. You will provide strategic leadership across the discipline, balancing innovation with quality, compliance, and reliability, while collaborating closely with leaders across mechanical, software, systems, test, manufacturing, and supply chain to deliver integrated, modular solutions.

This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.

Key experience
  • Extensive expertise in electronics design, covering areas such as motor drive circuits, power supplies, FPGA designs, analogue interfaces, high-speed communications, and embedded systems.
  • Strong experience delivering electronics into regulated markets, ideally medtech (ISO13485, IEC60601), or other high-reliability sectors.
  • Full product lifecycle experience, from concept through to manufacturing transfer.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing engineering teams.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, able to influence across functions and externally with partners.
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Electronics Engineering.
  • Senior leadership experience managing electronics projects, teams, or functions within complex, multi-disciplinary programmes.
  • Direct medtech experience preferred; experience from other high-reliability sectors also valued.
What’s on offer
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including bonus, share options, pension, and private healthcare.
  • Enhanced parental leave, wellbeing initiatives, and dedicated leave to support key life moments.
  • The opportunity to shape and grow a strategic electronics function within a cutting-edge medtech organisation.
