My client, a leading engineering innovator, is currently seeking a Head of Electrical Operations to join their team. This exciting role offers an opportunity to oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems, focusing on zero-emission solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with electrical engineers and technicians, providing mentorship and guidance related to electrical installations.
• Work with product design, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into products.
• Ensure resource availability for electrical projects, including contractors and employees.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope while managing resources efficiently.
• Collaborate on the definition and execution of the company's Kit of Parts.
• Lead the integration of electric systems, including high-voltage and low-voltage power circuits, controls, and automation systems.
• Ensure all installations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
• Define and perform end-of-line tests for electrical installations, such as voltage checks, insulation resistance tests, load testing, and functional tests.
• Support commissioning engineers during system commissioning and assist in trials, tuning, and final handovers to operators.

Job Requirements:

Education:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering, or proven relevant experience.

Required Experience:

• Significant experience in electrical engineering, installation, and testing.

Preferred Experience:

• Project management skills, with experience using project management software.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a creative approach to engineering challenges.
• Familiarity with classification standards.

Key Skills Required:

• Understanding of Standard Operating Procedures for the role.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
