This is a strategic role focused on transforming organisational culture, embedding a proactive and positive safety mindset, and ensuring compliance across multiple sites. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership to drive sustainable improvements and align teams with our safety and environmental goals.

Location: Hybrid role with travel across the UK and Ireland (multi-site). Multi-site experience within a manufacturing environment is essential.

What you’ll do:

  1. Lead and support all Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance matters across operational and non-operational teams
  2. Drive a consistent, positive safety culture through visible leadership, coaching, and clear communication
  3. Ensure full compliance with legal requirements and keep the business audit-ready at all times
  4. Provide expert advice and guidance to operational and non-operational management across the UK and Ireland
  5. Develop and manage EHS improvement plans, incorporating findings from internal and external audits
  6. Contribute to the development of performance plans and manage the EHS budget across the Business Unit
  7. Participate in national and international EHS forums, promoting collaboration and sharing best practices
  8. Engage and train colleagues at all levels, making safety relatable, actionable, and embedded in daily operations

What you’ll bring:

  1. NEBOSH-qualified (or equivalent) with a strong technical understanding of EHS frameworks and legislation
  2. Proven experience transforming safety culture within industrial or commercial settings
  3. Experience managing H&S teams and driving results through others
  4. Demonstrable multi-site experience within a manufacturing environment across the UK and (ideally) Ireland is essential.
  5. A passion for EHS and a natural ability to engage teams with clarity, empathy, and authority
  6. Strong influencing and communication skills across all levels of the business
  7. Ability to simplify complex EHS issues and embed them into everyday routines and behaviours
