Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Head of Education (Study Programmes) with strong leadership to oversee Government-funded provision across multiple centres. The role requires ensuring delivery of study programmes, SEND and internships, with travel across centres as needed.

You will lead senior teams, manage budgets and KPIs, and work with the SLT to grow ESFA-funded provision while maintaining high learner outcomes and stakeholder stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognised Teaching Qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. CertEd/PGCE).
• Must hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA).
• Must hold a minimum of a Level 5 Management qualification.
• Must hold a minimum of a Level 4 Vocational qualification or equivalent subject specialism.
• Proven senior leadership experience within Study Programmes and SEND with capacity to develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership across Government-funded education provision including Study Programmes.
• Lead and support management teams across multiple sites to achieve KPIs.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team to shape strategic plans for growth.
• Oversee financial performance of Government-funded provision, budgets and targets.
• Strengthen curriculum delivery, learner experience and outcomes with Quality team.
• Monitor performance data: attendance, at-risk learners and learner feedback.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to promote provision and reputation.
• Ensure contracts run compliantly and claims are accurate and timely.
• Play a key role in securing continued ESFA contract growth.
