Job Title: Head of Education (Study Programmes)
Location: Must be flexible with travel across Centres
Salary: up to £55,000 (depending on skills and experience)
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Duties:
- To provide strategic leadership across all Government-funded education provision, including Study Programmes, Supported Internships and SEND.
- Lead and support management teams across multiple sites, ensuring resources are used effectively and agreed KPIs are achieved.
- Work in partnership with the Senior Leadership Team, to shape and deliver strategic plans for the continued development and growth of the education provision.
- Oversee the financial performance of Government-funded provision, ensuring budgets, funding requirements and contractual targets are effectively managed.
- Work alongside Managers and the Quality team to strengthen curriculum delivery, learner experience, progression and positive outcomes.
- Oversee performance data, reporting and key areas to include: attendance, at-risk learners and learner feedback, ensuring appropriate action is taken where required.
- Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promoting our client's provision, achievements and reputation across the sector.
- Ensuring that internal and external procedure are adhered to ensure that contracts are run compliantly (e.g., achieving low risk audits; accurate and timely claims).
- Play a key role in securing continued growth and success of existing ESFA contracts, establishing the organisation as a leading provider of choice
Essential Criteria:
- Must hold a recognised Teaching Qualification at Level 4 or above (e.g. CertEd/PGCE).
- Must hold a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 5 Management qualification.
- Must hold a minimum of a Level 4 Vocational qualification or equivalent subject specialism.
- Proven senior leadership experience within Study Programmes and SEND with the ability to support and develop management and delivery teams to maximise performance and learner outcomes.
- Strong commercial and strategic awareness, with experience of identifying opportunities to grow and develop ESFA-funded provision.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster an open, collaborative culture and build positive relationships with staff, learners, employers and stakeholders.
