Job summary

Let's Educate is seeking a Head of Education to take overall leadership of our SEND, Mainstream Education and Tuition divisions. You will report to the senior leadership team and lead three Recruitment Managers, shaping strategy, culture and performance across the business.

You will own revenue and margins, drive client relationships, bids, tenders and frameworks, and ensure safeguarding, compliant recruitment and high-quality delivery across all placements.

Qualifications

• Substantial track record in education recruitment, including leadership of managers, teams or multiple desks/divisions.
• Proven success building profitable recruitment operations and driving revenue and gross-profit growth.
• Strong commercial leadership with experience in business development, tenders, or frameworks.

Let's Educate is a specialist education recruitment and tuition provider. As we enter our next stage of growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Education to take overall leadership of our SEND, Mainstream Education and Tuition divisions.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will lead three Recruitment Managers and set the commercial direction, leadership standards and operational discipline needed to grow a high-performing education recruitment business.

The opportunity

Set clear direction and develop the Recruitment Managers responsible for SEND, Mainstream Education and Tuition, creating accountability without losing ownership at divisional level.

Grow

Own the overall sales and growth strategy, strengthen major client relationships and lead high-value opportunities, tenders, frameworks and strategic partnerships.

Protect

Ensure safeguarding, safer recruitment, compliance, quality and commercial controls are embedded consistently across every division and placement.

What you'll be responsible for

• Developing and delivering the education recruitment strategy across SEND, Mainstream Education and Tuition.
• Owning overall revenue, gross profit, margin, contribution, forecasting and performance against budget.
• Leading, coaching and holding three Recruitment Managers accountable for divisional plans, team performance and delivery.
• Creating a consistent sales culture and personally supporting major client acquisition, negotiation and account growth.
• Building scalable teams, territories, processes and candidate pipelines aligned to market demand and growth plans.
• Using performance data and market insight to identify risk, improve conversion and direct investment or resources.
• Working closely with compliance, payroll, finance, HR, marketing and operations to ensure effective end-to-end delivery.
• Providing senior oversight of safeguarding, safer recruitment, complaints, allegations and referral responsibilities.
• A substantial track record in education recruitment, including leadership of managers, teams or multiple desks/divisions.
• Proven success in building profitable recruitment operations and delivering ambitious revenue and gross-profit growth.
• Strong commercial leadership, with experience of strategic business development, major accounts, tenders or frameworks.
• The ability to lead through managers: setting direction, coaching capability and addressing underperformance constructively.
• Strong operational judgement, financial awareness and confidence using data to forecast, challenge and make decisions.
• Credibility with senior education stakeholders and a sound understanding of safeguarding, safer recruitment and sector compliance.
• A visible, values-led leadership style that combines pace and ambition with high standards, collaboration and child-centred decision-making.
