Job Description:

Due to retirement within the Humanities Faculty, we are seeking a Head of Economics and Business Studies.

The ideal candidate is passionate, talented, and inspiring, with the ability to manage classes effectively across KS3 to KS5 (Years 7 to 13), covering KS3, KS4, and KS5 curricula.

The role involves promoting Business Studies, raising pupil attainment, and fostering a learning environment that encourages students to achieve their potential. You will lead by example, supporting learners to excel, and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons.

The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, especially in Economics, and be able to teach up to A Level Economics. They should be dynamic, creative, and motivational, committed to professional development, and align with the ethos of a Catholic Benedictine boarding school.
