We are seeking a dynamic Head of E-commerce Operations/Operations Director to lead ecommerce strategy, drive operational efficiency, and enhance customer experiences within the supply chain.

This is an exciting position to help drive the various teams within the business and increase online sales. The role will focus on improving performance and project managing ecommerce channels such as new Marketplaces.

You will oversee order fulfillment, supply chain logistics, website performance, and marketplace expansion, ensuring smooth operations and business growth within a predominantly B2C retail business.

The business manages several Shopify-based websites, with a strong brand and product line.

This role is within the home improvements industry; professionals from similar industries such as household, homeware, or appliances could be a great fit. Candidates from entirely different retail sectors are also encouraged to apply, as fresh ideas are welcome.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage e-commerce operations, fulfillment, logistics, and customer service.
• Optimize supply chain, inventory, and delivery processes.
• Ensure a seamless website experience in collaboration with IT and marketing teams.
• Expand into marketplaces using systems like Linnworks, connecting with Amazon, eBay, The Range, Wickes, and others.
• Improve workflows, automation, and overall efficiency.
