As Head of Ecommerce, you’ll sit at the heart of our mission to change lives through skin confidence.

Reporting to the Associate Digital Director, the role has full ownership and accountability for our ecommerce DTC strategy and performance in the UK & Ireland. This exciting position will drive commercial success through strategic leadership, innovation, and operational excellence. Ensuring we deliver growth while authentically showcasing our skin health expertise.

The successful candidate will lead a cross-functional team responsible for trading, customer acquisition, site development, CRO, CX and content optimisation. With a strong commercial acumen and a collaborative mindset, you will partner closely with internal departments and external agencies to deliver outstanding customer journeys, consistent brand representation, and share digital learnings with the wider business.

The responsibilities of the Head of Ecommerce…. Could this be you?

Strategic Ownership of the ecommerce channel P&L across UK & IE, accountable for revenue growth, new customer acquisition, and bottom-line profitability.

  • Lead and develop direct reports across Ecommerce Trading and CRO Management — setting clear objectives, fostering agility, and ensuring alignment with wider business goals.
  • Develop and execute a growth-focused Ecommerce strategy with clear KPIs and prioritised roadmaps across content, trading, technology, conversion and experience.
  • Drive a customer-first approach to online journeys, blending data insight, SEO, UX, CRO, and brand storytelling to ensure the site represents our values and delivers educational excellence.
  • Own the development roadmap for continuous ecommerce improvement, collaborating with internal and external partners on new features, platform enhancements and personalisation opportunities.
  • Work closely with the media agency and internal digital teams to manage performance and spends across Paid Search, SEO, affiliate marketing, also liaising with the CRM team.
  • Ensure site content, campaign execution and product merchandising is commercially effective, brand-aligned and supports cross-functional objectives.
  • Oversee and optimise performance reporting, working closely with the wider team to deliver clear insight into commercial performance, digital KPIs, and strategic opportunities.
  • Drive alignment with brand, education, supply chain, customer service and finance teams to deliver a seamless ecommerce operation and ensure goals are met cross-functionally.
  • Champion innovation and continuous improvement, keeping pace with ecommerce trends, platform evolution (particularly Shopify+), and customer expectations.

Do you have the below skills?

Proven experience in a senior ecommerce leadership role, preferably within beauty, health, or lifestyle DTC brands.

  • Hands-on experience with Shopify+ and managing ecommerce operations.
  • Track record of delivering strong commercial results through data-driven trading and growth strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of conversion rate optimisation, SEO, CRM and acquisition channels.
  • A collaborative, agile and proactive working style. A natural self-starter with a ‘can-do’ mindset.
  • Ability to inspire and lead a team while managing multiple priorities at pace.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across departments and senior stakeholders.
  • Passion for user experience, innovation and driving digital best practices.
