Salary: £61,140 - £73,241
Plus Special Allowance of £5,307
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid working available
Are you an experienced leader ready to make a real difference in Adult Social Care?
Medway Council is seeking a dynamic and visionary professional to join our Adult Social Care Leadership Team as the Head of Early Help & Prevention (First Response).
In this pivotal role, you will lead the strategic and operational delivery of our ‘front door’ service — ensuring it supports independence, promotes wellbeing, and enables residents to live as full and ordinary a life as possible. You’ll shape services that draw on the strengths of individuals, their families, and our thriving community and voluntary sector.
What we’re looking for:
  • Significant experience leading Adult Social Care services
  • Strong understanding of operational systems and relevant legislation
  • Proven ability to manage resources effectively within budget
  • Excellent partnership and collaboration skills
  • A track record of strategic development and driving performance improvement
