Job Title: Head of E-Commerce - Amazon
Department: E-Commerce
Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: Neasden, London (on site, no hybrid option)
The role:
As the Head of E-Commerce, you will take full ownership of our Amazon business for UK, Europe, and USA, managing the account end-to-end from product launches, content, storytelling, PPC, promotions, stock pricing, stock management, with overall full responsibility for the P&L. Relationships will initially be B2B with Vendor Central, some Seller Central responsibilities, and to lead the Company’s B2B and D2C Ecommerce activities as strategies are developed.
You will collaborate closely with PMs, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and your team to deliver the strategies set by the Directors.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Lead the growth strategy of the Amazon business and manage the internal Amazon team.
- Manage relationships with Amazon (Vendor Manager & AVS) and support the Finance team with queries.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure the account is financially up to date.
- As part of the Senior Leadership team, oversee daily departmental operations and lead core initiatives.
- Manage and develop the E-Commerce team, fostering a data-driven culture and continuous improvement.
- Use strategic thinking and conduct competitor analysis to understand products and target customers.
- Manage pricing, promotions, and advertising strategies, including AMS, SEO, DSP, and other Amazon services.
- Oversee inventory management, replenishment, and reputation management through reviews and feedback.
- Implement tools and manage staffing and agencies for Amazon success.
- Monitor account health, sales, trends, and offers; provide reports on campaign activities and optimizations.
- Participate in the Senior Leadership team to shape future E-Commerce strategies.
Candidate Profile:
We seek a self-starter who is resourceful, thrives in complex environments, and is ambitious for growth. Entrepreneurial with trading skills, able to see the big picture, willing to go the extra mile, and hands-on when needed.
Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in E-commerce trading with a successful track record, preferably with high-volume, low-cost products.
- Deep knowledge of E-Commerce business, Amazon evolution, marketing, and tools, with direct experience working with Amazon.
- Proven ability to grow Amazon sales, understand KPIs, and manage P&L.
- Strong stakeholder management, team leadership, creativity, and entrepreneurial flair.
- Hands-on experience in fast-paced environments, with skills in PPC, promotions, and product storytelling.
