Montu UK is seeking a visionary Senior Pharmacist leader to helm clinical and regulatory operations for a high‑volume, digital-first pharmacy platform. You will drive governance, compliance, and efficiency across 100+ staff while shaping strategy with Medical Director and General Manager.

This role focuses on innovative healthcare delivery, regulatory readiness, and scalable technology investment. You will not be managing a counter; you will build the future of digital pharmacy, ensuring robust

Qualifications

• Current GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
• Experience as a Superintendent Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leader
• Deep understanding of GPhC Standards for Pharmacy Professionals
• MHRA regulations knowledge (importing, wholesaling, storage standards)
• Experience managing Controlled Drugs governance and regulation compliance
• Track record leading teams in high-volume pharmacy
• Experience with regulatory inspections and audit readiness

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and ensure patient‑centred governance
• Oversee pharmacy operations, staff competencies, and SOPs
• Maintain GPhC and MHRA compliance across all areas
• Manage Controlled Drugs records and governance
• Monitor medicines expenditure and suggest scalable improvements
• Support the team to maintain accuracy and pace simultaneously
• Shape clinical and governance strategy alongside senior leadership
• Evaluate new services and products for regulatory feasibility
• Lead regulatory readiness for business expansion
• Represent Montu with regulators and industry bodies
• Influence pharmacy technology and automation investments
• Support business growth through scalable governance frameworks
• Collaborate across clinical, operations, technology, and commercial teams
