High-growth ecommerce business based in Yorkshire is looking for a Head of Digital Marketing.

This role is responsible for leading and optimizing all digital marketing channels, including PPC, paid social, affiliates, SEO, and programmatic advertising.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create a culture of innovation, testing, and continuous improvement, ensuring marketing efforts are data-driven, customer-centric, and collaborative.
  2. Develop and implement the digital marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, revenue, and brand awareness.
  3. Oversee the performance of all digital channels, including paid social, PPC, SEO, affiliates, and emerging platforms.
  4. Evaluate and adopt new channels, tools, and technologies for continual improvement and innovation.
  5. Establish KPIs, monitor performance, and implement effective attribution models.
  6. Manage relationships with digital and creative agencies.
  7. Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  8. Utilize analytics, customer insights, and market research to inform strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  9. Ensure the customer experience remains central to all campaigns.

Role Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as Head of Digital Marketing, preferably within a subscription-based, PE-backed, fast-paced D2C or ecommerce environment.
  2. Extensive knowledge of digital marketing channels including paid social, PPC, affiliates, SEO, and programmatic advertising.
  3. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, derive insights, and inform decisions.
  4. Experience managing large marketing budgets and multiple agency relationships.
  5. Leadership experience with a track record of building and developing marketing teams.
  6. Familiarity with marketing technology tools (e.g., Google Analytics, marketing automation, advertising platforms, BI dashboards).
  7. Strategic thinker aligned with business objectives.
  8. Innovative mindset with a passion for testing and scaling new ideas.
  9. Excellent communication skills for influencing teams, partners, and stakeholders.
  10. Collaborative team player in cross-functional environments.
  11. Customer-first approach to enhance brand experience.
  12. High emotional intelligence to motivate teams and build relationships.
