Job summary

As the Head of Digital Functional Integration, you will provide enterprise-wide strategic leadership for digital integration across Dstl, Defence Digital, and wider Government. You will lead the development and delivery of a coherent, integrated digital strategy, ensuring alignment of systems, services, and governance to enable operational effectiveness across Defence.

You will act as the senior interface between Dstl, Defence Digital, and central government, influencing decision-making at senior levels and ensuring Dstl’s digital capabilities are fully integrated within the broader Defence ecosystem.

This role is critical in shaping, governing, and assuring digital integration, ensuring compliance with cross-government standards while driving innovation, agility, and value for Defence and national security outcomes.

In this role you will:

Person specification

You will need experience of managing governance frameworks, assurance and strategic planning at organisational or enterprise level and display the ability to lead complex integration across organisational boundaries, balancing competing priorities.

You will also need experience of working within Digital function and be able to demonstrate strategic leadership in digital integration, governance or enterprise transformation.
