Job Title: Head of Sales

Location: Home-based with travel to client site or Columbus offices as required

Salary: Negotiable (We aim to improve your current package)

Bonus: Yes

Holiday: 25 Days, Plus Bank Holidays (Increasing with Service),

Medical Insurance: Yes (terms apply) plus additional Health Cashback Plan

Hours: Full time (36.5 hpw)

Travel/Expenses: A car is required for travel to client sites - expensed at 45p per mile from home address (excluding travel to any Columbus Office within 35mi)

Digital Commerce team,

You will provide proactive and strategic sales leadership across all our digital commerce services in the UK, including Customer Experience (CRO & UX), Ecommerce Platform Implementation and Product Information Management

The role of Head of Sales

Working with relevant channel partners and platforms in the digital commerce industry you will have responsibility for;-

  • Strategic Sales Leadership: Define the strategic direction of the Digital Commerce sales team in the UK, working with the VP of Digital Commerce & VP Global Optimisation to set targets and agree on the mix of activities to achieve them.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute strategic go-to-market plans to expand and grow the digital commerce customer base in the UK.
  • Sales Process Management: Oversee and participate in the completion of all commercial opportunities related to the sales process and closed sales.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key customer stakeholders to increase profitable sales growth and market share.
  • Team Development: Train, motivate, and advise a team comprising BDM and SDRs, ensuring continuous development through knowledge sharing and feedback.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive enhanced revenue generation activities and ensure year-on-year growth by meeting both personal and business sales targets.

About You (The Essentials)

  • Previously worked with a sales target of £3 - £4m (successfully achieving their targets.)
  • A demonstrable track record of successfully leading a sales function over a 7+ year cycle in B2C/B2B sales, particularly in Digital Commerce platforms, Customer Experience, Product Information Management (PIM) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Extensive sales leadership, management and strategy planning
  • Extensive partnership working including Optimizely, Shopify, CommerceTools, Akeneo and Censhare
  • Full driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Curious, looking to challenge the status quo and improve
  • Collaborates well with both internal and external colleagues
  • Committed to personal development and becoming a Trusted Advisor in your field.
