Job summary

Genesis is seeking a Head of DevOps to own platforms, infrastructure and delivery pipelines that enable secure, reliable software for clients across regions. This senior leadership role reports to the Executive Vice President, Engineering and drives reliability, security and cost transparency of a large, multi-region cloud estate.

You’ll stay technical enough to review architecture calls, but this is a leadership role focused on multiplying a team’s output rather than coding.

Qualifications

• Proven senior DevOps leadership across multiple teams or regions.
• Experience line-managing engineers with accountability for performance and development.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale production systems on major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Experience running cloud estates under external audits (SOC 2).

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the DevOps strategy and translate into a roadmap for the business.
• Own shared cloud infrastructure, tooling and delivery pipelines for all teams.
• Lead a multi-region DevOps function and standardize across regions.
• Ensure security and compliance proof for clients and regulators (SOC 2).
• Provide clear visibility into infrastructure cost by client and project.
• Build a self-service platform for teams to provision and ship independently.
• Line-manage and grow the team as the function scales.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews with Support.
