Overview

The team here at North Staffs Mind has been very busy over the last few years. Responding to the changing mental health needs of local people during a global pandemic and the subsequent economic downturn has certainly kept us on our toes.

We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect and have bold and exciting ambitions for the future.

As we plan the creation of a new mental wellbeing hub in Stoke-on-Trent and continue to expand our service offer into neighbouring Cheshire, the Head of Development and Sustainability will complement our senior leadership team in striving to achieve this.

This post will focus on helping us secure more sustainable income streams – whether by fundraising, funding/tender opportunities or helping us to develop our range of services that support the mental wellbeing of local businesses and their employees.

You will proactively seek out and evaluate potential funding sources and partnerships that match our organisational purpose – working with our management team to develop and deliver services and solutions that meet current and future need.
