Overview

Prospectus is delighted to be exclusively supporting our client in the search for a Head of Development and Philanthropy to join their leadership team.

The charity is a place-based grant making foundation that exists to generate and distribute philanthropic funding that enables voluntary and community organisations to deliver change in people's lives and in their wider community. They connect donors and partners, with charities and community organisations all across Devon to support greater equity and flourishing communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of a development and philanthropy strategy to grow the foundation's grant funding capacity over the next three years.
• Focus on relationship fundraising to increase donor engagement through stewardship of existing supporters while attracting more diverse donors.
• Collaborate with senior leaders, Trustees, donors and partners to deliver income targets.

• Proven experience in creating and delivering philanthropy strategies to achieve income growth.
• Confident in managing new and existing donor relationships to secure five and six-figure gifts.
• Innovative and collaborative leader capable of widening giving and approaches to philanthropy.

• Permanent role, part-time 4 days a week with hybrid working.
• Salary of £49k-£55k FTE; organisation open to flexible working conversations.
