Are you an experienced telecoms design professional looking for an exciting opportunity to build and lead a brand-new design function from scratch?
Do you want a pivotal role within a fast-growing infrastructure company where you'll have full ownership of design delivery, standards, and long-term team growth - with the progression route to Directorship firmly on the table?
This company is an ambitious and well-backed start-up within the telecoms infrastructure space. Led by a strong leadership team, they're now looking to bring all design work in-house and are hiring a Head of Design to take the lead.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Operations Director and Design Engineer to deliver high-quality telecoms network designs, while setting up the systems, templates, and QA processes that will shape the future of the department. You'll be hands-on at the start, managing your own output as well as reviewing and improving others', with the freedom to build out the team as demand grows.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Design Manager or Senior Design Engineer from a telecoms background (FTTP, wireless, civils, or utilities), confident with both technical design and client-facing work. You'll need to be comfortable in a start-up setting, bringing structure to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone hungry to take ownership, create something from the ground up, and play a vital role in the company's long-term success - all with the flexibility and trust that comes with senior-level autonomy.
