Your role in the Team’s Success

Lead IG's design team in creating exceptional user experiences across all digital platforms, ensuring brand consistency, usability, and innovation in design.

What You’ll Do

• Curious about our product and the technology, caring about our clients and their user experience and unafraid of the complexity that comes with regulatory risk.
• Define and implement IG's design vision, strategy, and standards
• Lead and mentor a team of product designers, UX researchers, and UI designers
• Oversee the design of all digital products, ensuring consistency and exceptional user experiences
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver innovative design solutions
• Establish design processes, methodologies, and best practices
• Champion user-centered design throughout the organisation
• Conduct and oversee user research to inform design decisions
• Stay current with design trends and innovations in financial services
  
  

Key Qualification Requirements

What you’ll need for this role

• 8+ years of design experience with at least 4 years in leadership roles
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional digital product design
• Experience leading design teams in financial services or similar complex environments
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
• Knowledge of design systems and their implementation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field; advanced degree preferred
