Overview

The Head of Department will lead and manage the development and delivery of the Stage Production pathways.

Pathways

• Level 3 Production Arts and Stage Management
• Level 3 Technical Theatre and Live Events
• Level 3 Hair and Make-up for Theatre, Film and TV
• Level 4 Theatre Making

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for curriculum leadership and quality assurance across the pathways, ensuring provision is industry-relevant, creatively engaging, and aligned with awarding body requirements.
• Overseeing teaching teams, technicians, and industry practitioners; leading academy and BOA Group productions; and working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Fostering a positive, professional, and supportive departmental culture where both staff and students are empowered to achieve excellence.
