Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional and dynamic individual to lead our high-performing Sport and Uniformed Public Services Department at Eccles Sixth Form College.

The department delivers a broad range of programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 across both subject areas. We seek a candidate who can shape and develop a forward-thinking curriculum, supporting student aspirations and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership to the department, ensuring high-quality education and student success.
  • Strengthen and expand links with industry partners to create enriched practical experiences.
  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance, implementing strategies to improve attendance, achievement, and progress.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop departmental staff to maintain high standards.
