Key Responsibilities:
As a senior leader at the IIS, you’ll shape academic and student affairs strategy, lead on readiness for Taught Degree Awarding Powers, and oversee the publication programme. You’ll help establish the Registrar’s Office, ensure high-quality student services, and guide co-curricular and wellness initiatives. You'll also drive academic policy, monitor quality and impact, and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
Person Specification
We're seeking a senior academic leader with a PhD in a relevant field, full professorial rank, and fluency in Arabic and English. You'll bring over 15 years of teaching experience, a strong research profile, and a deep understanding of UK and international higher education. Proven leadership in academic/student affairs, a commitment to equity, and familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks are key. Cultural awareness of the Ismaili context is essential, and additional language skills are a plus.
