Head of MFL to lead its dedicated and growing languages department from
September 2025. The school offers French and Spanish and is keen to further develop a love for languages across the student body.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a subject leader who wants to shape curriculum, inspire learners, and lead a dynamic team in a supportive and progressive school environment.
About the Role:
- Lead the delivery of French and/or Spanish across KS3 KS4 (KS5 optional depending on experience)
- Line manage and support MFL teachers, including mentoring ECTs
- Develop schemes of work, track pupil progress, and raise achievement
- Promote languages across the school and contribute to the wider curriculum
- Foster a culture of high expectations, inclusion, and cultural appreciation

Candidate Requirements:
- PGCE with QTS essential
- Experience teaching French and/or Spanish in UK secondary schools
