Head of Media - Full-Time, Permanent (Main Pay Scale + TLR)

This thriving secondary school is seeking a Head of Media to spearhead its ambitious and expanding Media Department. With a strong foundation already in place, this is a prime opportunity for an innovative classroom practitioner to take Media to new heights-both in terms of student achievement and department-wide creativity.What you'll do:

  • Lead and manage the Media curriculum across KS4 and KS5 with strategic direction and energy.
  • Inspire students with dynamic, real-world learning experiences, industry-relevant projects, and cutting-edge digital media content.
  • Drive curriculum innovation, assessment strategy, and teaching excellence within a supportive and well-resourced department.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Creative Arts Faculty to enrich interdisciplinary learning.
  • Mentor and support fellow staff to raise achievement and foster a culture of professional growth.
