The purpose of this role is to lead and inspire the department to provide excellent teaching and learning, resulting in outstanding outcomes for our students.

The post holder will be a Head of Department within the directorate of Health, Education and Wellbeing, led by the Assistant Principal. You will be accountable for the success of the Early Years and Education Curriculum, including study programmes, adults, and apprenticeships. Success will be measured through high-quality teaching and learning, high success rates, student satisfaction surveys, employer engagement, and high levels of progression to further study, higher education, or employment.

The post holder will collaborate with other department heads to deliver continuous improvement, share best practices, and implement projects as required.
