Quantum Scholars is excited to collaborate with a reputable secondary school in London to recruit an experienced Head of Department for Design Technology, starting in September 2025. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader in Design and Technology to join a school dedicated to high-quality education.

The school, located in London, is rated as a 'Good' by Ofsted and fosters an environment where students and staff feel valued and supported. It is a mixed, comprehensive secondary school catering to students aged 11-18.

Key Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: Proven background in leadership within a Design and Technology department or similar role.
  • Availability: Must be available to start in September 2025.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Design: Significant experience teaching Design and Technology at secondary level, with a strong understanding of curriculum development and student engagement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to lead a team, manage a department, and collaborate effectively with staff.
Responsibilities:
  • Department Leadership: Oversee planning, delivery, and assessment of the Design and Technology curriculum, ensuring it meets student needs.
