Job description

What you will do:
  1. You will be accountable for managing our outsourced implementation teams to deliver product tasks, including rate changes, product reviews, and ensuring adherence to KPIs.
  2. Responsible for the overall risk and control environment of the Banking Product teams, including RCSA.
  3. Liaise and influence senior stakeholders up to and including ExCo, using insights and data to present risk management strategies.
  4. Own the regulatory calendar and processes for the team, ensuring timely and quality execution of requirements such as the Banks' SCV process, regulatory returns, and communications.
  5. Support senior leaders in understanding key risks and developing control frameworks.
  6. Ensure leadership has a clear understanding of the risk and control environment, utilizing a data-first approach.
  7. Lead incidents and IUMs on behalf of the Banking Product team, involving SMEs as needed.
  8. Promote a positive risk culture within the team to ensure decisions mitigate risks and support good customer outcomes.
  9. Foster collaboration across the Banking product team and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes through engagement and challenge.
  10. Work with Value Streams/Product Owners to prioritize technical changes aligned with the bank’s strategy.

What you will need:
  • Understanding of the risks associated with your role and their implications for stakeholders.
  • Experience managing and delivering complex regulatory changes and implementation projects.
  • Knowledge of risk management, regulatory requirements, and compliance in Financial Services.
  • Experience managing third-party supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
