Job Description:

Lawrence Harvey is delighted to be exclusively partnering with one of the most exciting companies in the Health-Tech space. They are leading in software development for healthcare and are looking to transform their Data Protection team with this new position of Head of Data Protection and Data Protection Officer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and transform the data protection framework internally.
• Work closely with the CISO, Product, and Engineering teams to develop privacy frameworks.
• Leverage and assist key stakeholders in AI strategy.
• Lead DPIAs and other complex development elements.
• Enable innovation within the privacy program.
• Manage and upskill the existing small team.
• Oversee end-to-end management of the data protection function.

Requirements:

• Extensive healthcare sector experience, especially within the NHS, ideally as a Head of or DPO.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Confidence working with internal and external stakeholders to promote data protection.
• Passion for healthcare/health-tech and data protection.
• Availability to work 3 days a week in their Central London office.
• Salary between £100,000-£120,000 plus shares.
• Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office, 2 at home.
