Job description

Summer-Browning Associates are currently supporting our client within the central government, who are seeking an Interim Head of Data Governance on an initial 18-month assignment.

Location: Exeter (hybrid)

About the role:

You will be responsible for the implementation of the Data Strategy and the necessary governance required for effective design and delivery of the client's products and services.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a proven background in Head of Data Governance, along with the following qualifications:

Skills and Experience:

• Experience in setting up data governance policies, frameworks, and standards, and ensuring monitoring of adherence to these.
• Experience providing strategic oversight of data governance throughout the organisation.
• Knowledge of leading the development and implementation of assurance processes and setting up reporting to the Data Governance Group.
