This is a leadership role with a strong hands-on technical element, ideal for someone who enjoys combining people leadership, data strategy, and modern cloud data engineering.

You'll take ownership of the data platform that underpins business reporting and decision‑making, leading a team of analysts while remaining actively involved in the design, development, and operation of data solutions built on Microsoft Fabric.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Leading and developing a Data Analytics team, providing coaching, mentoring, and technical direction.
  • Owning and evolving a Microsoft Fabric‑based data platform.
  • Designing and maintaining data ingestion, transformation, and reporting solutions.
  • Building and managing data pipelines across APIs, CRM platforms, and other business‑critical systems.
  • Delivering trusted Power BI reporting and semantic models to support strategic decision‑making.
  • Driving data governance, quality assurance, security, and best practice across the organisation.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape data strategy and identify opportunities to maximise business value from data.
  • Managing the balance between operational support, strategic projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
  • Proven leadership experience within a Data Analytics, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence function.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric or a comparable cloud data platform.
  • Strong SQL and practical Python skills.
  • Expertise in Power BI, semantic modelling, and reporting delivery.
  • Experience managing data quality, governance, reconciliation, and assurance processes.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders.

Why Apply?

This is an opportunity to lead a highly visible analytics function where data plays a critical role in operational performance, strategic planning, and service delivery. You'll have the chance to shape the future data landscape, influence business decisions at a senior level, and work with modern technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, and Python.
