Communicate is a fast-growing managed security provider, delivering cutting-edge cybersecurity and connectivity solutions to thousands of businesses across the UK. With increasing demand for our cybersecurity solutions, we’re looking for an inspiring Head of Cyber Sales to lead our sales organisation to new heights.

You’ll shape the growth strategy, lead a passionate and high-performing team, and play a pivotal role in delivering our Cyber Security revenue targets.

About the Role:

As Head of Cyber Sales, you’ll be responsible for the performance, expansion, and strategic direction of our cyber sales function. This role goes beyond day-to-day leadership, it’s about owning the commercial plan, driving revenue growth, and ensuring we remain a trusted partner to our clients across mid-market and enterprise sectors.

You’ll report directly to the Board and play a key role in scaling our sales engine, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution. From building the right team to driving new business and account expansion, you’ll lead from the front and deliver measurable impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Owning growth: Take full ownership of Cyber Security revenue targets, forecasting, and pipeline development to ensure consistent and sustainable growth.
  • Leading from the front: Set the standard by actively contributing to strategic opportunities, mentoring team members, and driving a high-performance, results-oriented culture.
  • Scaling new business: Build, manage, and optimise a structured outbound and inbound sales process to generate high-value new client wins.
  • Maximising existing accounts: Work with Account Managers and Customer Success to unlock upsell, cross-sell, and retention opportunities within the existing base.
  • Building and coaching teams: Recruit, coach, and empower a growing team of cyber sales professionals. Providing clarity, accountability, and professional development.
  • Driving strategy: Collaborate with the C-suite, Marketing, Product, and Service Delivery teams to align on go-to-market plans, pricing, and positioning.
  • Championing innovation: Stay ahead of the curve on emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive dynamics - ensuring our sales approach evolves with the industry.
  • Optimising sales process: Use tools such as ZohoCRM, Apollo.io, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to track performance, improve pipeline velocity, and enable scalable success.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity, IT, or managed services sales leadership role (e.g. Head of Sales, Sales Director)
  • A strong commercial background with clear accountability for multi-million-pound targets
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling high-performing B2B sales teams
  • Deep understanding of the cybersecurity market, customer buying behaviours, and industry pain points
  • A strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability - you know when to lead and when to roll up your sleeves
  • Gravitas and confidence to engage with board-level stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Excellent coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales intelligence platforms (ZohoCRM, Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to drive data-led decision making
