Our client, a leading financial markets firm, is currently seeking a Head of Credit Risk IT to lead the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions for credit risk management.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a diverse, close-knit, global team that values its people, providing flexibility, rewards, and growth opportunities. The work will primarily involve Java, so experience in Java is preferred.

What you'll do:

1. Develop and execute the Credit Risk IT technology strategy.
2. Oversee the design and implementation of credit risk models and systems.
3. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of credit risk data.
4. Develop comprehensive credit risk reporting frameworks.
5. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
6. Lead and develop a high-performing Credit Risk IT team.
7. Collaborate with Risk Management, Finance, and Operations teams.
8. Manage the Credit Risk IT budget.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Risk Management, or related fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in credit risk management with a focus on IT solutions.
• Experience in developing and implementing credit risk models, preferably using FIS Adaptiv or Murex.
• Proficiency in advanced analytics and data management technologies, ideally using Java.
• Strong leadership skills to manage and develop teams.
