Job description

Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 to £49,084 per annum) plus TLR2b

Nottingham University Samworth Academy has an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head of Creative Arts.


As the Head of Creative Arts, you will join a warm and compassionate environment where every staff member makes a significant contribution to the experience of our students.


Your Main Responsibilities Within This Role Will Be


  1. Teach students within allocated classes, enhancing their learning and providing the opportunity for achievement for all students.
  2. Plan and prepare engaging tasks that challenge students and maintain high levels of interest during lessons.
  3. Monitor the academic progress of students within allocated classes and implement strategies to address underachievement.
  4. Assess, record, and report on the progress and attainment of all students within allocated classes.
