You will be expected to attend the office 2 days per week.

We're looking for a Head of Corporation Tax to join our Group Finance team. If you're ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified with extensive UK corporation tax experience in a large group, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role
Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will lead all UK corporation tax matters and oversee the Group tax reporting process, including UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting for UK entities and the consolidated tax reporting for IDS Plc.

You will:

  • Oversee UK corporation tax compliance, including returns, capital allowances, and R&D claims.
  • Lead the Senior Accounting Officer process and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Advise on tax legislation and manage HMRC relationships.
  • Enhance tax data quality, systems, and processes.
  • Manage consolidated tax reporting and disclosures for UK and group accounts.
  • Liaise with auditors and maintain tax reporting tools.
  • Provide tax advice across business functions and manage external advisers.
  • Support strategic tax planning and lead on regulatory initiatives (e.g. Pillar 2, Transfer Pricing, Public CbCR).
  • Implement processes to maximise tax relief on property spend.

About You
You'll bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative, hands-on approach. Specifically, you will have:

  • ACA, ACCA, and/or CTA qualification.
  • A strong background in UK corporation tax and tax reporting.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Flexibility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented approach with drive, enthusiasm, and a willingness to be hands-on.
