About The Role

Level: 6

Department: Distribution

Location: London - hybrid working

Contract: Permanent

You will be responsible for building the business plan for our integrated financial planning and investment management services, targeting business opportunities related to company sales, entrepreneurs requiring personal and professional financial planning, and advising accountancy, actuarial, and tax consultancy businesses. You will also lead business development efforts, develop and pitch for new business, and have deep expertise and empathy in dealing with end clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Proposition team to design and deliver market-leading propositions, including pricing and promotion strategies for professionals.
  • Act as the media spokesperson and seek continuous improvements to maintain market leadership.
  • Develop and execute the annual business plan, identifying opportunities to expand relationships with professionals.
  • Lead regional and London office specialists in pitching for business.
  • Participate fully in the pitch process with end clients, working with investment managers and financial planners.
  • Develop and deliver training on divorce services across the business.
Consumer Duty

This role will directly impact customer outcomes by ensuring propositions meet client needs and remain aligned with target markets.

Senior Managers & Certification Regime (SMCR) Roles

This is a Certification role requiring relevant qualifications.

About You
  • Highly collaborative with significant gravitas.
  • Proven experience dealing with deputies and personal injury lawyers, as a lawyer, investment manager, financial planner, or business developer.
  • Strong business development, pitching, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant professional qualifications in Investment Management or Financial Planning.
  • Numerical skills with understanding of pricing in personal injury wealth management.
