Job description

Role Purpose

As the Head of Corporate Communications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and safeguarding the corporate reputation of Danone UKI. You will lead the development and execution of a dynamic corporate communications strategy, driving awareness of our BCorp status and One Planet One Health vision to position Danone as a top player in the F&B industry in UKI.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  1. Cultivate, enhance, and safeguard Danone's corporate and commercial reputation across all channels through comprehensive stakeholder engagement.
  2. Drive the attainment of key business goals by strategically defining and executing corporate communication initiatives with excellence.
  3. Responsible for choice of and ownership of media channels.
  4. Define local media relations strategy and oversee execution.
  5. Define corporate social media strategy and oversee execution. Coordinate closely with category teams.
  6. Manage issues and crisis communication.
  7. Ensure media & social media monitoring, listening & early warning on emerging issues.
  8. Oversee reputation measurement.
  9. Responsible for choice and management of communication agency support (crisis, corporate PR, etc.).
  10. Serve as corporate spokesperson.
  11. Advise and support the General Manager and Leadership Teams on communication matters.
  12. Support, media train, and prepare top management as spokespeople.
  13. Support with strategic non-branded category communications campaigns when required.
About you

About You

  • Significant corporate communications background within regulated industries is essential.
  • Extensive crisis management experience within large/global complex organisations.
  • Media management experience - working closely with top-tier media outlets.
  • Track record of managing corporate communications for large complex businesses.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable communication plans that enhance corporate reputation.
  • Experienced team leader who has developed the skills of team members.

The salary bracket for this role is £100,000-£110,000 plus car allowance, bonus, and a competitive benefits package. This role is based out of our Chiswick office and you must be able to be in the office 2-3 days per week on average.
