This senior role combines leadership of a residential conveyancing team with hands-on case management, client service excellence and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent experience.
• Extensive residential conveyancing experience.
• Previous leadership or team management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a residential conveyancing team.
• Oversee performance and day-to-day operations of the department.
• Manage your own residential conveyancing caseload.
• Supervise and mentor fee earners and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with SRA and regulatory requirements.
• Drive departmental growth, profitability and efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and referrers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or experienced conveyancing professional to take the lead in a busy residential property department. The successful candidate will combine strong technical conveyancing expertise with proven leadership skills, helping to drive performance, client service, compliance, and team development.

The Opportunity

• Leading and managing a residential conveyancing team
• Overseeing the performance and day-to-day operations of the department
• Managing your own residential conveyancing caseload
• Supervising and mentoring fee earners and support staff
• Ensuring compliance with SRA and regulatory requirements
• Driving departmental growth, profitability and efficiency
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and referrers
• Supporting business development and networking activities

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent experience
• Extensive residential conveyancing experience
• Previous leadership or team management experience
• Strong technical knowledge across a range of conveyancing transactions
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and experience working to financial targets
• Confident decision-maker with strong organisational skills
