Title: Head of Controls and Reporting

Location: Central London

The Opportunity:

Finatal is partnering with a high-growth IT services business, backed by private equity, going through significant change, including several migrations and system overhauls across the financial control team.

This role will be responsible for leading the Financial Reporting team. The successful candidate will have experience guiding a team through strategic implementations during practice migrations.

The Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational and commercial finance teams, providing insights and challenge to support operational objectives.
• Lead the creation of monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and insightful management information, with effective challenge and scrutiny.
• Improve the month-end close process and guide the team to success.
• Manage the full audit process related to financial reporting, continuously reviewing and implementing effective financial controls to embed a strong financial control environment.
• Deputise for the Group Financial Controller when required and play a key role in the business.

The Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified, or equivalent.
