Job description

Job Title: Head of Computer Science

We are seeking a self-motivated and passionate candidate to lead the Computer Science department at Bluecoat Aspley Academy. The successful applicant will work closely with SLT to recruit, develop, and enhance the department, as well as collaborate across the Trust to develop the curriculum and educational provision within Computer Science. We seek leaders with ambition and commitment to shape the school into an outstanding provider.

The post holder will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to achieve the school's strategic vision. Candidates should be visionary and creative in selecting and implementing suitable qualifications. The successful candidate will ensure all students achieve their potential, regardless of their starting point, and will strive to provide excellent opportunities, education, and care.

Archway Learning Trust, formerly Bluecoat Academies Trust, was established in April 2014, building on the long and successful history of Bluecoat Academy. The Trust includes Bluecoat Aspley Academy, Bluecoat Sixth Form, and several other schools and initiatives across the region.
