How You'll Make an Impact

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with key suppliers to align with company goals and enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma to optimise supplier processes for quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Provide guidance to suppliers on manufacturing issues and collaborate with internal teams to align capabilities with design requirements.
  • Project Management: Oversee supplier projects for timely execution and coordinate cross-functional teams to address challenges.
  • Cost Management: Analyse supplier costs for savings opportunities and negotiate favourable terms with Procurement teams.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure supplier adherence to safety regulations and promote a culture of compliance.
  • Manufacturing Engineering Expertise: Maintain knowledge in key areas like casting, machining, and modern inspection techniques to support supplier innovation.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability in Aerospace component manufacturing engineering, with a focus on supplier management and quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control methodologies, and supplier evaluation techniques.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and other engineering tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
