Job summary

Griffin Bank Ltd is seeking a hands-on DPO and compliance adviser to shape our data protection and regulatory program in a fast-growing UK fintech environment. You will partner with product, sales, operations, and Protect to embed compliance by design across launches, supports and customer journeys.

You’ll own DPIAs, TRAs, and governance, reporting to the COO and collaborating with senior leaders. The role offers remote-first work across the UK with scope to influence major launches and protect

Qualifications

• Experience in UK regulated environments, with emphasis on compliance.
• Ability to translate complex regulation into practical product/sales/ops requirements.
• Strong data protection expertise, including UK GDPR and related acts.
• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, curious thinker who challenges when needed.

Responsibilities

• Turn regulation into clear requirements and customer journeys from ideation to launch.
• Ensure ongoing regulatory compliance of live products through reviews and monitoring.
• Collaborate with commercial, product, and operations teams to align risk appetite.
• Contribute to marketing materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Own data protection governance and training across teams.
