Head of Compliance - ASF & Employability

Position Overview

Salary: £44k - £50k per annum, experience dependent.
Location: Remote with occasional travel to the Greenwich Office.

As Head of Compliance, you will lead our Skills & Employability provision, ensuring that all supporting documentation and claims are compliant. You should be familiar with devolved authority funding claims, MOJ, and Employability-based claims. Your responsibilities include supporting monthly ILR and other funding returns, ensuring timely and accurate data submissions, and maintaining high standards of internal audits and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of compliance policies specific to skills and employability programmes, aligning with national standards.
  2. Conduct regular compliance assessments, audits, and reviews to identify risks and areas for improvement.
  3. Evaluate compliance risks within programs and advise management on mitigation strategies.
  4. Develop and oversee risk management strategies related to regulatory compliance.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to educate and train on compliance best practices and updates.
  6. Coordinate with external regulatory bodies and stakeholders to ensure ongoing compliance and address inquiries.

Essential Skills & Experience

  1. Experience in a senior compliance role, preferably within skills development, workforce training, or employability sectors.
  2. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and risk management related to skills and employability programs.
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Proficiency with compliance software and data management tools.
