Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports into the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are seeking someone to work in partnership with them to build top-tier compliance teams in the UK and internationally.

The responsibilities include:

• Working closely with the business to ensure activities comply with policies, laws, and regulations
• Providing strategic oversight, interpreting regulations, and engaging stakeholders to anticipate risks and inform decisions
• Leading and developing compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Managing global and strategic projects to enhance compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies
• Assisting the business in designing compliant initiatives
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally
• Interfacing with senior stakeholders with professionalism and integrity

Candidate requirements:

• Significant experience in compliance roles, especially sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Experience in a global leadership position
• Proven ability to develop compliance programs
• Exceptional project management skills, capable of leading large-scale transformations
• Comfortable with operational and strategic responsibilities, shaping direction and delivering results
