Job Description:

Our client, a global leader in their field, is looking for a Head of Compliance (Advisory) to join their team on a permanent basis.

The role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer, who is hugely inspirational. They are seeking someone to work in partnership with them, helping to build best-in-class compliance teams both in the UK and internationally.

The role involves leading the business-facing and strategic part of the Compliance function, including:

• Working closely with the business to ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
• Providing strategic oversight, regulatory interpretation, and stakeholder engagement to anticipate compliance risks and shape decision-making
• Leading and developing key compliance programs such as policy development, third-party due diligence, and sanctions programs
• Managing global and strategic transformational projects to improve compliance with laws and regulations
• Designing controls and mitigation strategies
• Assisting the business in designing new initiatives compliantly
• Implementing compliance policies and training programs internationally
• Interfacing with senior stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and integrity

Candidate requirements include:

• Significant experience in compliance roles, especially in sanctions and third-party due diligence
• Experience in a global leadership position
• Proven ability to build compliance programs
• Exceptional project management skills and experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives
• Comfortable with operational and strategic responsibilities, capable of shaping direction and delivering results
